Health of the working-age population (2017)
The 1st annual scientific and professional international conference, entitled "Health of the Working-Age Population", took place on September 22nd, 2017 at the Grand Hotel Portorož. The faculty received numerous compliments from both the audience and the distinguished Slovene and foreign lecturers who presented their views with outstanding quality and interesting contributions.
About 110 participants attended the conference, of which there were more than 70 experts in the field of prevention and health promotion, who actively participated in the conference with their professional and research work. The goal of the conference - to draw attention to health problems of the working-age population and to present the latest studies in this field and new approaches used in practice was well-achieved. Five thematic sessions illuminated the health of the working-age population from different perspectives, and offered discussion about current and emerging challenges of our society in the field of health. At the same time, the social events offered many opportunities for further cooperation in a relaxed setting.
Several business partners and sponsors (ISTRABENZ PLINI, S2P, INNORENEW CoE, DDD Koper, Maksimum, KZ Agraria Koper, Vinakoper, Geoplin Ljubljana) supported the conference, either financially or with material donations, and representatives of the media also contributed to the recognition of the event. Thank you all.
